Maureen was a large offshore oil platform built for drilling, production and oil storage with accommodation on board for offshore workers.

Maureen had been producing oil safely since 1983 and is the only offshore platform to have achieved several Gold Medal Awards from Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

Maureen’s unique steel gravity base design meant that she could be refloated and then towed to a new location.
